Privacy Notice

Introduction: 

  • Protecting the personal information of our clients is extremely important to mummy&me. As part of the initial assessment we require some sensitive personal information.

  • This Privacy Notice sets out how we collect, process, share and store client personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018). Further updates to the Act may be introduced however, the most recent version will always be available on our website, www.mummyandmeonline.com

  • In this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means all persons using this service. In these conditions “We”, “us” and “our” means mummy&me. 

  • We take your privacy very seriously and we ask that you read this privacy policy carefully as it contains important information on:

    • the personal information we collect about you;

    • what we do with your information; and

    • who your information might be shared with.  

  • We only use your personal information when it is permitted by laws that protect your privacy rights. We will only collect and use your personal data where: 

    • ‘Consent’ - we have your consent to use it (where necessary); 

    • ‘Contractual necessity’ - we need to use the data in order to fulfil our contractual obligations; and 

    • ‘Legitimate Interests’ - the processing of your data is necessary for your legitimate interests, (in identifying suitable fitness programmes), or the legitimate interests of a third party, unless there is a good reason to protect your personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.

 

 What is Personal Information? 

  • This includes information about an individual that can identify them, such as their name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and medical details. 

  • This information about you that you freely provide us with during the use of our services. This may be by telephone, in person, mail and/or e-mail.

What Client information do we hold?

  • When registering your interest in the mummy&me community we will collect personal information that will allow us to assess suitability for workout programmes and ensure we are providing the right advice and guidance. 

  • Information we will collect will include:

    • Your name; 

    • All applicable contact details including telephone numbers, address and email address. 

    • Personal Details, including the following: 

      • Your date of birth; 

      • Some medical history 

      • Payment details 

 

How we use this Personal data:

  • To identify you and manage any membership you hold with us; 

  • To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;

  • To provide you with a personalised experience; we will use personal information to tailor the fitness programmes and support level to your needs; 

  • To provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us; 

  • To provide you with information we feel may be of interest to you (see separate section on marketing purposes);

  • To notify you about changes to our service; 

  • To administer our internal operations.  

 

Who we might share Personal data with:

  • mummy&me staff members 

  • Selected 3rd parties for the performance of any contract we enter into with them, in the fulfilment of the service we provide for you. 

 

Marketing Purposes: 

  • We may use your data for legitimate marketing purposes, where we believe our services will be of interest to you. We shall only send you marketing materials where you have consented to such contact. We may use the following media to communicate this information to you: 

    • Telephone calls;

    • post;

    • e-mail;

    • website; and

    • social media.

  • You have the right to request that we do not send you these materials via any media combination, at any time.  

  • Occasionally, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes by email, phone, or mail. This information would be used to improve or amend our services according to your interests.

How long will we hold Client data for?

  • We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

 

Information security: 

  • The entire database of your information is stored at the mummy&me premises. We take all steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice. 

  • To protect your information, we have policies and procedures in place to make sure that only authorised persons can access your personal information.

  • We ensure that your personal information is handled and stored in a secure and sensible manner and all systems that can access personal information have the necessary security measures in place. 

  • All persons able to access the personal data have clearly defined roles and responsibilities set out in our policies and procedures and are provided with the necessary training to ensure they understand how to carry these out. 

 

Customers’ rights in respect of the personal data we hold: 

  • At any point you can contact us to request to see a copy of the information we hold about you as well as why we have that information, who has access to the information and where we got the information from. Once we have received your request we will respond within 30 days.

  • If the data we hold about you is out of date, incomplete or incorrect, you can request corrections or updates as necessary.

  • If you feel that we should no longer be using your data or that we are illegally using your data, you can request that we erase the data we hold. When we receive your request, we will confirm whether the data has been deleted or tell you the reason why it cannot be deleted.

  • You have the right to request that mummy&me stops processing your data at any time. You are required to inform us via email or post. Upon receiving the request, we will contact you to tell you if we are able to comply or if we have legitimate grounds to continue. If data is no longer processed, we may continue to hold your data to comply with your other rights.

  • You can ask us to erase, amend or restrict any data that we hold about you for any of the following reasons: 

    • You wish to terminate your contract with us, in which case the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; 

    • You withdraw your consent to the processing, and there is no other legal ground for the processing; 

    • You object to processing for direct marketing purposes; 

    • The personal data has to be erased in order to be compliant with a legal obligation.

  • We do not have to provide information in all cases, such as where it would involve the disclosure of information about another person, or where a request is excessive or manifestly unfounded.
